They are good apps and there is plenty they do well — several send unlimited review-request emails on a free plan, and one lets you use any font you like. Once your own orders are flowing, any of them will serve you. This table is about the ninety days before that, when you have no orders to collect from. Yes — they are reviews written by real buyers about the same physical product, published on the marketplace it ships from. AReviews copies them across unedited: the text, the rating, the buyer's photos, the country and the date. It does not generate reviews and it has no feature that writes one for you. Your filters decide which of those real reviews are good enough to show, and the honest way to run it is to import for the products you genuinely sell and let your own customers' reviews take over as orders come in.
Will Google show my star ratings?
AReviews outputs valid review schema on every product page automatically, which is what Google reads to decide whether to show a star rating in search results. Whether it renders them is always Google's call, but the markup is there and correct. You can also push ratings to Google Merchant Center through the built-in Google Shopping XML feed so your Shopping ads carry them too.
Will it slow my store down?
Reviews load from a cached endpoint after your page has rendered, images are lazy-loaded, and every merchant's design settings are cached rather than rebuilt per visit. The widgets do not block your theme's first paint. If you ever see something odd on your theme, support will look at your actual storefront rather than sending you a help article.
Which marketplaces can I import from?

Eleven more go through the free AReviews Chrome extension — Amazon, Shopee, Shein, Temu, Walmart, Alibaba, 1688, Taobao, TikTok Shop, Wayfair and CJdropshipping. On top of that: the five dropshipping apps (DSers, Dropified, Importify, Modalyst, Expressify), live import from any Loox or Judge.me store, and CSV / Excel upload for reviews you already hold in a file.
Can I move my reviews over from Loox or Judge.me?
Yes, and you don't need an export file. The AReviews extension reads reviews directly off the live product pages of any Shopify store running Loox or Judge.me — ratings, photos and dates intact. If you'd rather use a CSV, that works too, and it's compatible with Yotpo and Stamped exports. Support will run the migration with you if anything looks odd.
Do I have to edit my theme code?
No. On Shopify, AReviews installs as a theme app block — you place the reviews section from Shopify's own theme editor and drag it where you want. On WooCommerce, the plugin adds the reviews block to your product template automatically. Page builders like PageFly and Veda get their own dedicated block. If you'd rather pin it to an exact spot, the app gives you a snippet and a guided walkthrough for that too.
I'm on WordPress, not Shopify. Does this work for me?
Yes — AReviews ships a WooCommerce plugin with the same importers, the same filters, the same 16 widgets and the same dashboard as the Shopify app. Create an account at wordpress.areviewsapp.com, install the plugin, and paste your API token to connect it. Same plans, same prices, same free tier and same 3-day trial as the Shopify app — nothing is held back on WordPress.
What happens if I downgrade to Free?
Up to 6 reviews per product stay published. Anything above that limit is unpublished, not deleted — it sits in your dashboard and republishes the moment you upgrade again. Premium features switch off; nothing is destroyed.
Is the app available in my language?
The dashboard ships in 13 languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), French, German, Italian, Turkish, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, Korean, Danish and Finnish — Arabic with full right-to-left layout. Your storefront widgets translate separately, into whatever language your shoppers speak.
